项目简介 Program Summary


The 2024 UFITS Summer School will be held at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The summer school invites first-class cosmology institutions such as the University of Science and Technology of China, Fudan University, Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Sun Yat-sen University, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to give lectures jointly. It is sponsored by the Astronomical Society of Anhui Province and hosted by GEC Academy. To cultivate young scientific research talents, Summer School will specially invite experts from MIT and other internationally renowned universities to offer cutting-edge courses, and hold a two-day international conference entitled "Discovery, Conflict, and Challenges in Cosmology".

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is the first research university in Hong Kong established by the Hong Kong Government to meet the needs of the economic restructuring in the 1980s. It is also a world-renowned research university. The university has four schools, namely, the School of Science, the School of Engineering, the School of Business Administration, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Interdisciplinary Program Office. According to the QS World University Rankings 2024, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology ranks 60th in the world.
